Dear Graduate Student:
We are seeking volunteers to help officiate Argonne’s Middle School Regional Science Bowl Competition on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Oswego East High School. Science Bowl is a Department of Energy Competition where students face-off in a fast-paced, question-and-answer format, and are tested on a wide range of science disciplines and math. The wining team wins an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. to compete in the National Science Bowl.
This year we are expecting 20 teams to compete, nearly double that of last year, and are in need of A LOT of volunteers . For the past few years, we have had a number of University of Chicago Students carpool and volunteer for this event.
