UC Juneteenth 2021 is live! To register for events starting May 27th, visit our website or subscribe to our UC Juneteenth calendar! This inaugural initiative marks the UofC community coming together to commemorate Juneteenth, engage in active allyship and build community. Events open to all UofC students staff, faculty (unless noted otherwise). All graduate attendees will be eligible for a $30 food reimbursement at each session (capped at the first 100 registrants; not applicable to 2021 graduates for events after June 10).

- If you’re interested in building allyship, consider joining our sessions: 1) History of Juneteenth, 2) Sharing our stories: The Black Graduate Experience, and 3) Anti-racism workshop
- If you’re interested in building community with fellow Black students, consider joining our sessions: 1) Black@UC: Intersectional identities, 2) Black@UC: Social, and 3) Black@UC: Open mic
- And register for a conversation with Angela Davis on the day of Juneteenth (Saturday, June 19th, 4-5pm)!
